About Me
I was born in Hungary, lived in the USA and spent a few vibrant years living and working in London and eventually found my home on the Gold Coast in Australia.
My path to becoming a counsellor has been anything but linear - and I believe that's part of what makes this work so deeply human and meaningful to me. I began my career in advertising, worked as an assistant bar manager in London and later became a qualified hairdresser in Australia. For six years I connected with people in the salon chair before returning to the office environment as an admin professional, health support officer and later as an executive assistant. Througout all these roles one thing remained constant - my curiosity about people, what shapes us, what holds us back and how we heal. This lifelong interest led me to complete a Diploma of Counselling and I'm currently furthering my studies in counselling with a focus on relationship therapy. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and couples to navigate challenges, strengthen connections and build healthier patterns in their relationships, all within a compassionate, person-centred approach. I created Equanimous Mind Works as a warm grounded space where people can slow down, feel heard and begin to untangle the thoughts and patterns that no longer serve them. Whether it's navigating relationships. reducing anxiety or just needing support through life's transitions - my goal is to make counselling feel supportive, practical and even a little joyful. I believe in the power of mindfulness, the importance of compassion and that everyone deserves the chance to live with greater ease, clarity and connection. |
