How do I whitelist an email address that is marked as spam? |
|||||
Adding a whitelisting is often a good way for you to receive emails that may be seen as spam by filters. For example, your home loan consultant may give you good email advice on mortgages, but the use of these terms in the email may cause it to be marked as spam. Adding a whitelisting will bypass spam checking for that particular domain or address.
Adding a Whitelisting to Mail Scanner through CPanel. 1. Log in to Cpanel. 2. Click on Mail Scanner Configuration in the Mail options box. ![]() 3. Click the link to Email Black / Whitelist Settings ![]() 4. Type the email address that you wish to Whitelist.
![]() Follow the prompts as to what format to use. For example:
- adding *@emw.net.au will make all addresses from emw.net.au pass through the spam filter. - adding lucas@emw.net.au will let emails from this address only pass, while all other addresses from that domain will be checked. |
